Hi- need your help in responding to a discussion post on the topic of correlation:Some results that I can think of that applies not only to my department but my job as a whole is the amount of the raise given compared to the amount of money paid out for damages. I work in maintenance for a not for profit nursing home so we rely on grants. donations, and government funding. When something gets damaged by someone not taking care of equipment, it takes away from the money that would be going to raises and other improvements that could be made to the facility. As money goes out to pay for the damages, there is less money left over that could be used for higher raises or bonuses. It would be important as a manager to stress the importance of taking care of the equipment not only for the sake of bonuses and raises, but also to make sure that it lasts a long time.
