Question 1: Leadership Theories Define leadership and provide a brief historical overview of the development of leadership theories. Select two theories and discuss in detail. Give examples of the application of these theories to criminal justice leadership. List and describe the bases of power and influence and discuss those that you believe are most effective. Question 2: Strategic Human Resource Management Describe and discuss the steps in the strategic human resource process Give an example how criminal justice leaders and managers can apply the steps in the process to a law enforcement, corrections or other public safety agency. Note: while you may attempt to apply the process to Court Administration, I do not recommend this. What are two issues or problems that may arise with regard to the process?
